Journalist Jesko Drescher anonymously receives a photo on his smartphone: Jesko as a boy, around 12 years old, naked. Jesko and his former school friends – men in their fourties, mostly in similarly prestigious jobs – have to deal with the possibility that they might have been victims of sexual abuse 30 years ago at their catholic elite school.
Rather than solving the case, Thomas Melle relentlessly focuses on four fundamentally different characters, who individually fight about their eminent right over their own biographies.
