Julie Weideli is a Swiss and French Stage Designer based in Berlin, Germany.
She obtained her Diploma in Interior Architecture and Scenography at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland Basel.
As a long standing artistic contributor to the stage and costume designer Christof Hetzer, she has been working among others at the Het Muziektheater Amsterdam, Deutschen Oper Berlin, Vlaamse Opera Antwerpen and Theater Basel.
Since 2015 she has been designing stages and occasionally costumes for multiple successful theatre productions at Theater Regensburg, Schlosstheater Celle and Schauspielhaus Salzburg. As of 2018 she signed the stage and costume designs for opera productions at Theater für Niedersachsen in Hildesheim, Theater Aachen and Staatstheater Kassel.
Her artistic work comprises among others the scenography for the installations “Low Density” and “Der leere Spiegel” co-elaborated with Bernd Purkrabek.
